Student Council
The Student Council at Brentwood Middle School is an organization that provides extracurricular activities for students. Students are given the opportunity to participate as a representative in this organization through an application and recommendation process. Student Council serves to engage students in learning about democracy and leadership.
Student Council helps share students’ ideas, interests and concerns with teachers and school principals. Students will participate in raising funds for school-wide activities including social events, community projects, helping people in need, and school reform. Some of the activities students will plan and participate in include food drives, fundraisers, parties, and community and school projects. Members of the Student Council at Brentwood have worked hard in the past to raise funds to support the Wildlife Sanctuary, Pennies for Patients, Make-a-Wish Foundation, and the Weld Food Bank. Members of Student Council will learn skills that are an extension of their formal education.
