International Baccalaureate

Brentwood is proud to be an IB World School. The International Baccalaureate Programme is an international program that was founded in 1968. It provides rigorous academic standards which are recognized globally, with over 4,000 schools worldwide participating. After intensive preparation, accreditation work, and staff training, Brentwood Middle School was officially added to that elite list in 2026.

To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.

These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
